Lessons and practices
Here are a few lessons and practices I do to get warmed up. Now you dont have to to use your Ring finger (for instance in lesson 1 on the --2-4-6-- part on the G string.) when it says to.
You can use your Middle finger if your more comfortable that way.
Personally I use my Middle finger cause it just seems easier to me and gives me more flexability and leaves my Ring finger free to throw in an extra note if needed.
All Audio clips are in .mp3 format and you will hear the riff 4 times, 2 fast and 2 slow.

Lesson 1: In this lesson we will work on hammer-ons. You will only pick every 3rd note starting with the first note. So it will go Pick, hammer-on, hammer-on, Pick hammer-on, hammer-on, Pick ...etc.H H H H H H H H H H H H H H I M P I M P I R P I R P I M P I M P I R P e|-2-3-5----------------------------------------------------------------| B|-------2-3-5----------------------------------------------------------| G|-------------2-4-6--4-6-7---------------------------------------------| D|--------------------------4-5-7---------------------------------------| A|--------------------------------4-5-7---------------------------------| E|--------------------------------------5-7-9-0-------------------------|
Lesson 2: In this lesson we will work on pull-offs. You will pick every 3rd note starting with the first note. So it will go Pick, pulloff, pulloff, Pick, Pulloff, Pulloff, Pick ...etc. You do pick the note at the end of the slide the 4\2 on the A string. On the --5-3-2-0-- on the Big E string you only pick the first note and then the chord.Lesson 2 audio clipp p p p p p p p p p P R I P R I P M I P M I P M I I e|-9-7-5-------------------------------------------------------------| B|-------8-7-5-------------------------------------------------------| G|-------------7-6-4-------------------------------------------------| D|-------------------7-5-4-------------------------------------------| A|-------------------------7-5-4\2-----------------------------------| E|-------------------------------------------------------------------| p p p p p p p p p p p p p P R I P R I P M I P M I P M I I P M I e|-9-7-5----------------------------------------------------------------| B|-------8-7-5----------------------------------------------------------| G|-------------7-6-4----------------------------------------------------| D|-------------------7-5-4-------------------2--------------------------| A|-------------------------7-5-4\2-----------2--------------------------| E|----------------------------------5-3-2-0--0--------------------------|
Lesson 3: This is a good way to practice stretching, picking and hammer-ons/pull-offs. When I play it slow in the audio clip im picking the hammer-on and pull-off notes, where as in the fast version I am only picking the first note before the hammer-on/pull-off part.Lesson 3 audio clipI R P I M P M I P R I R P I M P M I P R H H p H H p e|-------------------------------------------------------------------| B|----------------------------7-8-10-8-7-----------------------------| G|-------6-7-9-7-6----------9------------9---------------------------| D|-----9-----------9------7----------------7-------------------------| A|---7---------------7--5--------------------------------------------| E|-5-----------------------------------------------------------------|
